Compensation of Academic Loss Programme(CALP) typically refers to a structured initiative implemented by Kendriya Vidyalayas to mitigate the negative impacts of academic disruptions. These disruptions could arise due to various reasons such as participation in sports activities, scouts and guides and other activities.

The primary goal of such a program is to provide students with additional support, resources, and opportunities to make up for lost instructional time and ensure they meet their academic milestones. Usually the classes will be conducted during zero period, after school hours.
