Bal Vatika

In consonance with National Education Policy Balvatika is functional in 445 KVs. Academic resources developed by NCERT are used for the teaching and learning process. Play-based and joyful learning is being ensured in these classes. Toys become partners in learning for these classes. Play-based approaches are being followed so that children will learn and gain knowledge simultaneously. Furthermore, to achieve foundational numeracy and numeracy, age-appropriate learning-teaching material is developed, teachers are trained, and regular assessments are done. The emphasis
is on making students competent to read and write correctly and cogently, as well as to develop the basic understanding and competencies related to numeracy and its related concepts among the young students until Grade III.

Due to unavailability of physical infrastructure, Vidyalaya not yet started Balvatika classes.
